In the beginning Facebook was popular with young adults. In fact they are probably the generation that helped make Facebook what it is today! Since then things have evolved. Today young adults do not really use Facebook much, they have since moved on to other social media sites such as Instagram and Vine. Now if you log onto Facebook, you see many people using it to promote their businesses and mixed in with some personal use. Which brings me to the point of this conversation!
Ok ladies, have you ever logged into Facebook and noticed you have a message and when you clicked on it …..this is what you see??
“Hey Pretty Honestly I most confess your picture got my attention,I stopped and check to see who is this princess and where she came from.I’m Denny would love to hear from you”
And then there is this one that really takes the cake!!
“How are you doing?i am an easy going man with sense of humor and i like making jokes, smiling and i like to be jovial.During my leisure times i like going to the beach, watching movies and also like cooking(smiles).I am looking for whom to share my dreams with who can probably be my soul mate. After viewing ur profile, i have interest on you and i wish to write u to know more about you,pls if you check my profile and feel we can move on just get back to me as soon as possible.take care and have a lovely day.”
COME ON, REALLY?. What the heck are you thinking?? First of all, if this is how you talk to women, then you are going need lots of help outside of Facebook. Seek help fast!! Here is a little bit of Woman’s InSite for you…..don’t go there! Facebook is not the place for this type of behavior, especially these days. Most of these messages come from men in other countries but there are some that are local are crazy enough to try it. I promise you, we women are not taking any of these inquiries seriously. And as a man, would you want any woman that did? In fact after sharing and laughing about some of them(that’s right, if you are crazy enough to go there then so are we), all messages are quickly chunked in the trash and we can’t hit the unfriend button fast enough! And hello, it says in my bio I’m MARRIED. A woman that is honest enough to state she is in a committed relationship will certainly not give you the time of day! It’s tasteless, tacky and we won’t even talk about the really bad grammar that is usually accompanied with the message!
Yes Kathryn and I use Facebook a lot to connect with people that we have met in business that also have evolved into personal friends. It really has become the wave of the future in doing business. I do understand that sometimes relationships happen by mutually getting to know one another but again be classy not trashy. Don’t troll!
So to all of the Facebook stalkers, go somewhere else, like REAL dating websites. Oh and just because I’m nosey, I would love to hear from the guys if there are some women that do this too!
